Premis Awarded Iona College New GLA Building & Library Refurbishment

There are some projects that represent more than just another contract award. For us, this is one of them.

We are delighted to announce that Premis has been awarded the Iona College New General Learning Area (GLA) Building and Library Refurbishment project.

Over the past 20 years, Premis has steadily evolved from delivering quality refurbishment projects to successfully delivering increasingly complex education, health, science, commercial and community facilities across South East Queensland. This project is another important milestone in that journey and reflects the confidence our clients continue to place in our team, our capability and our collaborative approach.

The project includes the construction of a new four-storey General Learning Area building comprising:

• Eight new General Learning Areas (GLAs)
• Two multi-purpose learning spaces
• A new canteen and commercial kitchen

In addition, the College’s existing library will be refurbished to create contemporary, flexible learning environments that will support students and staff for many years to come.

This significant investment in the College’s future has been made possible through support from both the Commonwealth and Queensland Governments via capital funding grants.

Education has always been an important sector for Premis. We understand that school projects are about much more than buildings. They are about creating places where students learn, teachers thrive and communities come together. We look forward to working closely with Iona College and the wider project team to deliver facilities that will make a lasting contribution to the College.

We would like to sincerely thank Iona College for placing their trust in Premis. We are excited to begin construction and look forward to bringing this outstanding project to life.
