Workplace Fit-out
Premis was engaged to deliver a two-floor fit-out for the Queensland Government.
The key objective was to deliver a fit-out that would satisfy current and future demands over the length of the lease period. It was an opportunity to co-locate 350 personnel that had previously been spread across a number of tenancies around the greater Brisbane area.
The fit-out was delivered in a live environment with floors above and below remaining operational throughout. The fit-out focussed on user comfort and collaboration – featuring sit to stand desking and a number of breakout spaces, including “The Glade” a nurturing space overlooking the RNA showgrounds and the cityscape in the distance. A central island kitchen dominates the space with a tiered seating platform at one end and welcoming banquette at the other. Dining settings for groups as well as solo settings offer a number of options for users.
