John Flynn Hospital – Specialist Suites
Premis was contracted to deliver the fit-out of The Cardiac Centre and Heart Lab’s new suites located in the newly constructed specialist facility at John Flynn Private Hospital in Tugun.
The ‘cold shell fit-out’ was on level 3 and part of level 4 and delivered multiple consult rooms, echo/stress echo, reception, admin and waiting rooms. The Premis team constructed the entire purpose-designed fit-out, including all built works, building services, finishes, fixtures and fittings.
With works on other floors of the building occurring concurrently, coordinating with the other building companies onsite was essential to position and arrange all new mechanical, hydraulic and electrical services.
In designing the new specialist suites, HHH Architects sought to optimise the patient experience, while also streamlining the everyday working procedures for staff and doctors.
Maintaining comfort and functionality while working within a smaller overall floor plate than the suites previously occupied by The Cardiac Centre was challenging however achieved. The new suites offer great functionality within a contemporary and warm look and feel.
