Murphy Pipe Civil – Staged Refurbishment
This award-winning project involved a full refurbishment of Murphy Pipe Civils’ two storey headquarters in Brisbane.
The building remained occupied and operational throughout and was completed in two stages. Stage One involved moving ground floor office operations to level two throughout the duration of the refurbishment. Stage Two included the installation of a new entry façade to incorporate PWD ramping as well as a PWD internal elevator. Works also included civil and landscaping.
The design takes advantage of the building’s riverside location and incorporates large breakout spaces that offer sweeping views of the water. Custom joinery was also a key component separating workspaces without completely closing off areas.
