Oasis Dental Studio, West End

Premis was engaged by Oasis Dental Studio, to complete their new high-end boutique dental studio fit-out located on Montague Road, West End.

The new Oasis Dental studio will provide advanced dental procedures to the residents of West End and surrounding suburbs.

The concept behind the design of the studio was focused on changing the negative perceptions and stigma surrounding a visit to the dentist – The studio offers an extensive array of services going beyond general dentistry.

The new studio includes hygienist room, three surgeries, consultant room, office, sterilization room, storeroom, staff room and a new inviting reception and waiting area. The hygienist and surgery rooms are fully functional with X-Ray machines, new dental chairs and state of the art equipment installed, providing the most advanced procedures dentistry has to offer.

Services throughout were also upgraded and the fit-out was completed in two stages. The first stage involved the base build works including new stairs and services and the second stage involved the entire fit-out and equipment installation.

The high-end details and finishes were a key component of the fit-out including the Porter’s French Wash paint that creates the look of delicate broken colour – a subtle marble-like finish discovered centuries ago by European masters. The goal by the designer was to create the illusion that the walls were moving.

Other key materials used included Bera&Beren tiles on the floor and stairs – Bera&Beren is a minimalist and refined collection, included in Contemporary Mixtures Surfaces, thick reeded glass panels for internal glazing and doors and Vagli Oro and Verdi Alpi marble and Corian bench tops. Another standout feature is the illuminated acrylic cut signage with recessed led lights creating a punchy, contemporary look.
