Redcliffe Hospital – Integrated Care Centre Refurbishment and New Build
Premis delivered a major three floor refurbishment and part new build to the Moreton Bay Integrated Care Centre (MBICC), providing new renal and oncology facilities.
The project was delivered as a staged program. Two residential buildings were demolished to allow for a new construction and three floors of the existing building were completely stripped before being refurbished.
The upgraded building now has a dedicated floor for each service in the MBICC, plus a shared floor for outpatient clinics and patient education. A new structure was built alongside the existing building, housing a patient lift, external lift shaft, stairwell, and link bridges to provide access to all five storeys within the MBICC building.
A major services upgrade was also undertaken, along with the installation of a reverse osmosis renal dialysis system, and the installation of a new generator system for redundant power.
