Premis was engaged as the Managing Contractor to construct a new catheter theatre, ancillary spaces and dining room facilities at the Sunshine Coast University Hospital.
The project was staged with the new operating theatre and dining room facilities being built within the existing recovery area, followed by the construction of the new catheter theatre and ancillary spaces within the current theatre dining room location.
The hospital remained operational throughout the construction period and all works were pre-planned and timetabled to minimise disruption of everyday operations. The new lab assists the hospital in providing additional interventional Cardiology services and will cater for future growth in diagnostics and treatment of Cardiovascular disease.
