University of the Sunshine Coast Clinical Trials Facility, Maroochydore

Premis delivered the University of the Sunshine Coast Clinical Trials Facility under a Design and Construct contract, creating a purpose-built environment to support clinical trials and medical research.

The project transformed a cold shell tenancy into a modern healthcare facility incorporating treatment bays, infusion chairs, consult rooms, laboratory and pharmacy spaces, reception and waiting areas, staff facilities, offices and collaborative workspaces.

The fitout included the coordination of all building services, specialist healthcare and laboratory equipment, custom joinery, acoustic treatments, audiovisual systems and automated access solutions. Working within the constraints of an existing building required detailed planning and coordination between building management, consultants and trades to successfully integrate the extensive services infrastructure. The result is a high-quality clinical research facility that enhances the Sunshine Coast region’s capacity for medical research and innovation.
